Have you recently passed the bar exam?Congratulations! Once you have been sworn into the bar, please contact your LegalSource representative so that we can update your profile in our staffing database to reflect your new bar status. For those who passed the New York bar exam, you will probably need an Affidavit of Employment from LegalSource prior to being admitted. Because the affidavit must be signed before a notary public, affidavits are completed in batches every 2-3 weeks, as opposed to our usual return time of 1-2 days for most employment verifications. Therefore, please email our HR department right away (hr@legalsource.com) if your bar requires an affidavit, so that there is no delay in your admission to the bar. |
